Paying the clean air zone (CAZ) daily charge
You must pay a charge for each calendar day that you use the clean air zone.
The daily charge applies from 12:00am (midnight) to 11:59pm. It does not cover a 24-hour period from the time you enter.
For example, if you enter the zone at 6:00pm on Friday and leave at 2:00am on Saturday, you must pay twice.
How to pay
You can pay the daily charge online or by phone.
You must pay either:
- 6 days before your day of travel
- on your day of travel
- 6 days after your day of travel
