About the programme

The Birmingham device bank repurposes digital devices used by the council and makes them available for free for charities and community groups in Birmingham.

These digital devices include:

• laptops with power adapters
• desktops with monitors, keyboards and mice

All laptops and desktops are refurbished. There will be no operating system installed on the digital devices you receive.

Mobile devices and tablets are not currently included.

If you are a charity or community group

Applications are open for charities and community groups in Birmingham. As a charity or community group in Birmingham, you can apply for digital devices for:

• your organisation
• the people your organisation supports

If you are an individual

You cannot apply to the Birmingham device bank as an individual.

If you would like a device, you can contact a charity or community group, who will be able to apply on your behalf.
