Economic information and statistics

Overview

As the city council’s Economic Research and Policy Team, we undertake research and analysis to support the city council, the GBSLEP and the West Midlands Combined Authority achieve their economic goals.

You can download a wide range of information on all aspects of the Birmingham and wider economy. Our detailed reports combine economic data with commentary to provide an objective analysis of the local economy. We also offer a range of fact sheets with tables of statistics at city and ward level.
