Leaseholder Sub-Group (LSG)
The Leaseholder Sub-Group (LSG) provides a platform for leaseholders to:
- have their voices heard
- influence service improvements
The LSG acts as an advisory and consultative group working in partnership with the leasehold and home ownership team.
The group focuses on issues that affect leaseholders such as:
- service charges
- capital works
- procurement of services
- building safety
- changes in relevant council policies, procedures and legislation
The group does not address individual leaseholder issues, but will consider trends affecting multiple properties or areas.
LSG membership
Membership of the LSG includes:
- a representative from the City Housing Involvement Board (CHIB)
- 4 leaseholders from Local Housing Involvement Boards (LHIBs) – 1 from each quadrant (North, East, South, Central)
- 5 leaseholders from under-represented areas not involved in LHIBs
LSG meetings
The LSG meets quarterly and reports annually to City Housing Involvement Board (CHIB).
LSG meetings are chaired by an elected leaseholder representative, and members are supported with training as needed.
