What we will achieve

Growing digital skills in the Council to deliver services that are citizen and business focused.

We will:

  • put Birmingham’s citizens and businesses at the heart of everything we do
  • build the skills that are essential to deliver a citizen-centred approach and show that we can achieve better outcomes for everyone this way
  • ensure all our Councillors and senior leaders are digital leaders and advocates for taking a citizen centred approach
  • have staff that are confident in their digital skills
  • have teams that can adapt quickly to the changing needs of citizens and new service requirements
