Organ donation

Do something extraordinary, donate blood, organs or tissue and one day you could save someone’s life.

Birmingham is committed to improving the rates of organ donation and transplantation and is home to the largest transplant units in Europe. As host city for the 2018 British Transplant Games, Birmingham pledges to work with its stakeholders to raise awareness of organ donation and to increase the number of people joining the NHS Organ Donor Register (ODR).
