In addition to Bikeability there are lots of other fun ways children and schools can get involved in cycling related activities.

Bike maths

Books and card games laid out on table as part of a maths game based around building a bicycleBike maths is a fantastic team game which enables children to practice their maths skills, while learning about how to build a bike. This brand new KS2 resource is now being offered FREE to Birmingham schools that are registered with Modeshift STARS (subject to availability).

If you’re interested in receiving the Bike maths resource, we are currently offering one per school on a first come first served basis for FREE! Please email connected@birmingham.gov.uk for more information.

Bling your bike!

This is a brilliant bike-based activity, where pupils can use their arts and crafts skills to give their bikes a fancy dress make-over. Decorating the bikes can be done either at school or as an activity at home. Please download our very own Birmingham Cycle Revolution activity guide and resources to get started!
