CQC rates services as Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement or Inadequate.

Birmingham City Council rates contracted services as Gold, Silver, Bronze or Inadequate.

These ratings are decided following inspections by Council staff. Besides the overall quality rating, the Council also rates five aspects of the service – Involvement and information, personalised care and support, safety and safeguarding, suitability of staffing and quality of management.
