Safety and quality standard

This year, we spent a massive £235 million on installing:
- 2,531 bathrooms
- 2,791 kitchens
- 411 new roofs
- 1,703 new doors/fire doors
- 24 rear doors
- 5,525 heating systems
- new windows in 158 properties
We also carried out 530 electrical rewires.
We completed 259,530 responsive and gas repairs. The first-time fix rate is over 75%, in line with our national good practice benchmark.
99.9% of customers who received a service by our repairs and maintenance contractors gave a positive customer satisfaction response.
1,177 empty properties were made available for re-letting.
To keep our tenants safe we conducted:
- 64,951 audits and inspections of council properties, of which 1,216 inspections were of high and medium rise blocks
- 47,489 communal door inspections
- 14,820 flat entrance door inspections
