Video 1: Putting you at the heart of everything we do
Transparency, influence and accountability standard
Video summary
- We launched a new tenant engagement structure. At the heart is the City Housing Involvement Board, 11 local boards, and service improvement groups for:
- high rise living
- sheltered housing
- antisocial behaviour
- leaseholders
- We continued to work closely with our tenants on the Tenant Scrutiny Group who monitor the performance of our housing management and repairs services.
- It is important to us that our tenants have a range of opportunities to feel engaged, listened to and meaningfully involved in the delivery of our housing service. This year, we engaged with 5,815 of our tenants and residents, who attended 294 community involvement events and activities, and helped us carry out 239 city-wide community projects. These ranged from:
- improving the appearance of our blocks by decorating and installing new flooring
- installing new bin stores to improve the appearance of our estates
- initiatives to improve community safety
- Through the annual Tenant Satisfaction Survey, we are pleased to report that tenants’ satisfaction with their housing service continues to rise, with 59% of tenants satisfied with the overall service in 2024 to 2025, compared with 52.1% the year before.
