Project criteria

When you submit an application to the fund, you will need to show how your proposal supports at least one of the following high-level priorities:

• improves air quality
• supports active travel and public transport use
• encourages a greater shift towards zero emissions travel or infrastructure

Project ideas

To help inspire you, here are some project ideas which the fund could support:

• cycle bays
• school traffic exclusion plans
• sustainable transport measures
• parking restrictions
• green spaces
• tree planting
• air quality monitors

You can talk to your local councillor and your community about your idea for improving air quality where you live and subscribe to the Brum Breathes mailing list for further inspiration.
