We are an independent consultancy and test house that has been established for over 100 years. Our roots can be traced back to 1910 when a laboratory was established by Birmingham to research into explosives and metallurgical processes.

Today BCL is a UKAS accredited laboratory, incorporating a range of scientific and engineering disciplines. We provide consultancy, investigation and survey services to Birmingham City Council, other local authorities and the private sector throughout the UK.
