Birmingham Warm Welcome Spaces
Warm Welcome spaces are local groups that bring people together and strengthen community ties.
Spaces are open to everyone. They are inclusive and non-judgemental. They provide free, safe and welcoming places. You can:
- take part in activities
- access services
- get practical advice and support
- meet people in your community
Warm Welcome spaces are available all year round, not just in winter.
What each space offers depends on the location and may include:
- information, support and guidance
- opportunities to take part in activities and learn skills
- free internet access, computers and charging points
- a cup of tea or coffee or a warm meal
- a cool space during hot weather with drinking water available
- a friendly place to connect with others in your community
The Warm Welcome network brings together community, voluntary and faith organisations across Birmingham. There are more than 200 spaces across the city, including:
- libraries
- community hubs
- places of worship
- leisure centres
- cafes
