Why
Creating, using, and defining creative health as an engagement tool and a means of improving mental health by reducing isolation, raising awareness and lifestyle factors that drive chronic disease.
How
Targeted towards the South Asian community, specifically those aged 25 to 40, and women from the Pakistani community, to explore barriers towards mental health support amongst the community and additional factors such as diabetes, obesity, low level of physical activity, socio-economic challenges, and lifestyles.
Key deliverables
Implementing tailored sessions that use artistic/cultural activities within the local communities such as Arabic calligraphy, multimedia events to promote self-reflection and Urdu singing classes to create a safe space for individuals to take agency on their health improvement.
