How to access support
To connect with our services for yourself or a young person, phone the PfA Contact Center on 0121 808 0028.
The caller will be put through to a call handler who will complete a connection request with the person on the phone to better understand the needs and support required.
We are happy to take a referral from young people/adults, their families/carers, or professionals.
We will ask the caller:
- what support the young adult already receives and from whom
- if we need to be aware of any risks
- what areas of support the young adult needs help with
Our team will then decide whether the young person meets our criteria.

What happens next?
Once the team has looked through the answers, we may need further information. If we do need more information, a follow-up call will be arranged.
If the young person meets the eligibility criteria for our service, they will be allocated to a member of the team who will support them in achieving their outcomes.
If a referral is made directly by the young person or on behalf of a young person but this is not the best team to support their needs, we will be happy to connect you to a more appropriate service.
