Levelling Up Birmingham
In 2021, Birmingham City Council published Prosperity and Opportunity for All: Birmingham's Levelling Up Strategy.
This strategy is a plan for inclusive and sustainable growth which will improve the lives and opportunities of people and communities in Birmingham.
The strategy aims to improve Birmingham by looking at:
- ill health
- poor educational achievement
- low skills and income
- congestion
- air pollution
- creating new homes, employment locations and community assets such as allotments, libraries and community centres
Members of the partnership support the Levelling Up Strategy because it has the potential to achieve many of the partnership's goals.
