Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Discretionary
This was a local scheme set up by Birmingham City Council and funded from the Additional Restrictions Grant.
This grant was available for certain specified trading businesses that were occupying properties on 5 November 2020. This grant covered domestic the following types of businesses:
- Bed and Breakfasts
- Properties occupied by Retail, Hospitality and Leisure supply chain businesses
- Businesses trading from shared premises where the landlord was liable for the Business Rates.
There were several exclusions from the Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Discretionary which included:
- Insolvent businesses
- Businesses that qualified for other grants
There were three different payment amounts depending on the RV of the business property.
