Local Restrictions Support Grant (Open)
This grant was available for trading businesses in the Hospitality and Leisure sectors that were occupying properties on 14 October 2020.
The following types of businesses were eligible:
- Restaurants
- Take aways
- Cafes
- Cinemas
- Theatres
- Museums
- Tourist Attractions
- Gyms, Casinos
- Leisure Venues
- Public Halls
- Hotels, and Holiday Homes etc.
- This grant also covered domestic Bed & Breakfasts, properties occupied by supply chain businesses and businesses trading from shared premises where the landlord was liable for the Business Rates.
There were several exclusions from the Local Restrictions Support Grant (Open) which included insolvent businesses and businesses that qualified for Local Restrictions Support Grant (Sector) which is covered separately.

There were three different payment amounts depending on the RV of the business property.
