Public Health grant

The Public Health Grant is a ring-fenced pot of money that Government gives to Birmingham City Council to fund public health action to protect and improve the health of citizens, this includes funding for the specialist public health division and the mandated services.

The core condition of this grant is that it should be used only for the purposes of the public health functions of local authorities.
