Tenancy agreement and conditions of tenancy
Your tenancy agreement is a legal document that tells you all the rules about living in your property.
If there is anything in the agreement that you don’t understand, contact us or get advice from a solicitor, Citizens Advice, or a community housing centre.
The Conditions of Tenancy tells you your rights and responsibilities as a tenant, and the council’s rights and responsibilities as a landlord. You must keep to the conditions of the tenancy.
Your Tenants’ Handbook contains useful information on looking after your home and managing your tenancy.
You can also download our council tenants’ guide to keeping dogs.
