Check if you can apply for homeless help

You can apply for help if you are:

  • homeless or at risk of being homeless in the next 56 days (8 weeks)
  • aged 25 and over, or have children aged 17 and under

You will need to provide your National Insurance number.

If you have already lost your home and have nowhere to stay tonight, contact us for emergency help.

If you are aged 24 and under

Contact St Basil’s if you are aged 24 and under:

  • with no partner and no children aged 17 and under
  • with a partner who is also aged 24 or under and no children aged 17 or under

If you do not have a National Insurance number

If you are from abroad and do not have a National Insurance number, contact the Refugee and Migrant Centre.

If you have a National Insurance number but do not know what it is, check GOV.UK find it.
