Free stalls for charities | Bull Ring Rag Market | Birmingham City Council

Free stalls for charities

If you are a registered charity or a local community group, you may be able to rent a vacant stall free of charge.

You can book a stall for one day, a whole week or a series of days, for example, 3 Fridays or 2 Saturdays.

You can use the stall to:

  • display information about your charity or group
  • distribute leaflets
  • sell charity-branded goods

Let us know in advance what you intend to use the stall for.

We can only allow you to sell goods that meet the Bull Ring Markets' rules, regulations, and policies.

Insurance

You will also need to provide evidence that you have third-party public liability insurance.

We will need to see a copy of the policy, together with a letter confirming that it covers your organisation when on the market stall.

Book a charity stall

To book a stall free of charge, write to us on your charity’s headed notepaper and include your registered charity number.

You can contact us to check stall availability before writing.

Stalls can be booked in advance, but they are sometimes available at short notice.
