Take part in the survey
How you can take part
We want to make the survey accessible to every colleague so you all have the opportunity to take part.
Line managers are expected to give all colleagues time to complete the survey during working hours.
If you have any questions or have accessibility needs, speak to your line manager or email: colleagueengagementsurvey@birmingham.gov.uk.
There are a number of ways you can take part in the survey:
Online
This is the easiest way to complete the survey. We have also emailed the online survey link to your council email address.
By scanning the QR code
You can find the QR code on posters and flyers displayed in council buildings. You can use the QR code to complete the survey on a mobile or tablet.
By phone
If you prefer to give feedback verbally, phone us on: 0121 216 1002. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Using printed or accessible formats
If you need a printed or accessible version of the survey, email: colleagueengagementsurvey@birmingham.gov.uk
In-person
The engagement and wellbeing team are arranging in-person sessions with laptops and paper copies of the survey for you to use.
About the questions
The pulse survey asks 16 questions. It builds on the feedback you gave in the November 2024 colleague survey and asks how things are going now.
We are especially interested in how you are feeling about recent changes.
Your input will help us understand what is working well and what still needs improving. For example, you can let us know how you feel about:
- your wellbeing
- recognition
- your development
- clarity of objectives
- belonging
