Board membership
The chair of the board is Professor Ashok Roy OBE, consultant learning disability psychiatrist at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust.
The vice chair of the board is Chris Barber, autistic expert by experience and registered nurse (learning disabilities).
Membership of the Birmingham Autism and ADHD Partnership Board (BAAPB) also includes:
- autistic people and people who have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- family carers of autistic people and people who have ADHD
- organisations involved with autistic people and people who have ADHD in Birmingham, including:
- Birmingham City Council's commissioners and clinical leads
- Birmingham Children's Trust's commissioners and clinical leads
- NHS Birmingham and Solihull's commissioners and clinical leads
- NHS provider trusts
- voluntary and charitable organisations
- other public authorities, for example, West Midlands Police, prison Services, and education providers
- other organisations, for example, advocacy groups
