Old Yardley conservation area

A new draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan (CAAMP) has been prepared for the Old Yardley conservation area which seeks to respond to current planning policy and legislation. The document considers amendments to the existing boundary along with other minor changes.

A public consultation on the draft CAAMP and proposed boundary amendments will run from Monday 18 May 2026 to Friday 10 July 2026.

A drop-in public event will be held on Thursday 11 June from 4:00pm to 8.00pm at the Trust School, Church Road, Yardley, Birmingham B33 8PB.

Officers will be in attendance in order to answer any questions you may have concerning this process and to understand your views on the draft CAAMP and proposed boundary amendments.

Those people directly affected by these proposals will be invited to attend by letter.
