The Horse and Jockey at the junction of Birmingham Road and Jockey Road in Maney, Sutton Coldfield. The first photograph of the pub was taken by Sir John Benjamin Stone around 1895. The Horse and Jockey is now part of Ember Inns and has clearly been rebuilt since the time of the original photograph. Mrs. Catherine Shaw was the landlady of the Horse and Jockey in the 1890s, and her name on the board above the door can just be made out on the original image.
