Find disabled parking (Blue badge parking)

The Blue Badge scheme is for drivers or passengers with severe mobility problems. It aims to provide greater access to parking spaces. Apply for a blue badge.

Where you can park

If you display your Blue Badge, parking is free at pay and display on-street parking bays (with no time limits) and at council car parks.

If you display your Blue Badge, you can park on yellow lines if:

  • you don’t cause an obstruction
  • there aren’t any loading restrictions
  • you don’t park for longer than 3 hours

Where you can’t park

You must not park where it would cause an obstruction or danger to other people.

See our Where not to park (Blue Badge Holders) information leaflet.
