After sunset on Wednesday 11 February, the exterior façade of the Library of Birmingham will be lit up yellow in support of the Marie Curie Great Daffodil appeal.

The Great Daffodil Appeal helps Marie Curie raise funds so they can continue providing care and support for people with a terminal illness and for those close to them.

Marie Curie provides:

• free palliative and end of life care
• information and practical guidance for families and carers
• support to help people plan ahead and make informed choices
• expert nursing care at home and in Marie Curie hospices

Their services help people manage symptoms, receive emotional support and live as well as possible at the end of life.
