After sunset on Wednesday 24 September, the exterior façade of the Library of Birmingham will be lit up pink, yellow and blue to celebrate International Day of Birmingham 2025.

The International Day of Birmingham happens every year. It brings together cities around the world that are all called Birmingham.

The day is a chance to share local traditions, culture and history. It also shows how people in different Birminghams have similar values.

There are events in person and online. These help people connect and build friendships across countries.
