Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) Grant Programme

The Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) Grant Programme is funded by the UK Government Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) to support the UK’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions.
The programme provides free energy assessments and grants of up to £100,000 for SMEs in the West Midlands Combined Authority area.
Note: BEAS applications close on 15 December 2025. We may review late applications at our discretion, but only if all documents are provided and the project can be finished and the grant claim submitted by 27 February 2026.
SMEs located in Birmingham, Solihull and the Black Country
BEAS Funding is still available and applications will continue to be considered throughout December 2025. Application reviews will be potentially carried forward into January 2026.
Later applications will be reviewed based on project timelines and readiness.
Get a free energy audit before applying for a grant
You’ll need to have an energy audit of your business premises before you apply.
