Check if your business is eligible for a BEAS grant
To be eligible for the BEAS programme, your business must be in the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) area, which includes:
- Birmingham
- Solihull
- Sandwell
- Dudley
- Walsall
- Wolverhampton
- Coventry
- Stafford
- Cannock Chase
- Lichfield
- South Staffordshire
- East Staffordshire
- Newcastle-under-Lyme
- Staffordshire Moorlands
- Stoke-on-Trent
Check if your business postcode is eligible
Your business must also:
- be a micro or small to medium sized enterprise (SME), which means it has:
- fewer than 250 employees and an annual turnover of less than €50 million, or
- a balance sheet total under €43 million
- have used at least 25,000 kWh of energy (electricity and/or gas) in the last 12 months
- be a commercial entity or profit-seeking enterprise, such as a:
- partnership
- limited company
- community interest company (CIC)
- operate from a registered commercial address not a residential property
- be responsible for paying your business energy bills for at least 12 months
- be officially registered and active for at least 12 months, with financial records demonstrating operational activity
Sole traders are not eligible for a grant.
