School consultations
Schools' de-delegation consultation 2026/27
Schools Forum members for primary and secondary maintained schools must decide separately for each phase whether the service should be provided centrally. This is set out in the Schools Forums (England) Regulations 2012. The decision will apply to all maintained mainstream schools in that phase.
The consultation ended on 19 December 2025. The responses received from this consultation will be used by Schools Forum to inform their decision on the de-delegation of each service.
