Get involved in the suicide prevention campaign

There are lots of things you can do to get involved in the campaign.

Make suicide everyone's business

This could look different depending on who you are.

If you are a business owner, you could look at implementing Zero Suicide Alliance's free 30 minute suicide prevention training into your mandatory training.

We also have our 3 hour Orange Button training scheme.

If you have a workplace or attend school, you could put up posters that signpost to crisis support.

Check in on family, friends and colleagues

If this campaign has made you think of someone in particular that you are worried about - take action by checking in on them. Ask them about suicide.

Learn more

Take on our free 3 hour virtual suicide alertness course.

The course goes into more detail about talking to someone feeling suicidal.

Show your support

Share this campaign on your social media accounts, or with your networks.

Include what you have learnt from the campaign, what you have done to support the campaign, or even your own story.

Tag @bcchealthybrum - or @Healthy Brum on Facebook - and use the hashtag "#MakingSuicideBirminghamsBusiness" so that we can see your posts.
