Neighbourhood Mental Health Team

The Neighbourhood Mental Health Team is a specialist team of mental health care professionals. They offer support, advice, and treatment with mental and physical health - as well as help resolving issues affecting wellbeing, such as:

  • money
  • work
  • housing
  • relationships
  • trauma
  • abuse
  • addiction

Available to those aged 18 and over experiencing a new or existing mental health concern.

To book, contact your GP surgery and ask for the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Service Neighbourhood Mental Health Team.

Central Birmingham Wellbeing Hub

The new drop-in Wellbeing Hub provides a safe, secure environment for anyone aged 18 and over living in Birmingham or Solihull seeking mental health advice, support and signposting.

  • Drop in - open Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm
  • Located on Link Street in between the Bullring & Grand Central, B5 4BS

Birmingham Healthy Minds Talking Therapies

A free NHS talking therapy service for anyone registered with a Birmingham GP aged 16 and over.

Grounded cafes

Grounded cafes are a space for you to relax, recover, or recuperate in a community-centred café setting. They also provide wellbeing workshops, 1:1 support, community events and a safe space to discuss where to get mental health support.

They have several locations:

  • Selly Oak (11 Bournbrook Road, Selly Oak, B29 7BL)
  • St Paul’s (55 St Pauls Square, B3 1QS)

Birmingham Mind Helpline

The Helpline offers advice, information and signposting relating to mental health, wellbeing and health and social care issues alongside a range of other conditions. They are available from 9:00am to 11:00pm everyday.
