About Shaping Birmingham's Future Together

In March 2024, the Leader of Birmingham City Council launched Shaping Birmingham’s Future Together (SBFT), a collaborative initiative aimed at shaping the city’s future.

Tackling inequality and maximizing opportunities is a complex challenge that requires a fully coordinated effort. To support this, Shaping Birmingham’s Future Together has been established as a platform for partnership and collective action to develop a unified vision for Birmingham.

This project brought together partners from:

  • the public and private sectors
  • education institutions
  • voluntary organizations
  • faith and community groups
