About Shaping Birmingham's Future Together
In March 2024, Cllr John Cotton, Leader of Birmingham City Council, announced Shaping Birmingham’s Future Together (SBFT) – a new way of working, united around a vision for Birmingham.
SBFT is designed to improve outcomes for the citizens of Birmingham by working in partnership with:
- our citizens
- local communities
- strategic partners
As we continue to build SBFT, we are creating a friendly, informal community of people who care about making Birmingham a better place for everyone.
About the Shaping Birmingham's Future Together Community (SBFTC)
SBFTC is about working with Brummies – not just for them.
We want to co-create ideas and solutions that reflect what people really need and want.
By listening, learning, and collaborating with our citizens, we aim to help shape a future for Birmingham that is more:
- inclusive
- responsive
- connected
A future that truly reflects our City Vision.
