Children and young people’s drug and alcohol service
Aquarius is a children and young people’s drug and alcohol service located in Birmingham.
They offer specialist support services for anyone up to 25 years old who uses substances, or who is affected by a parent or carer’s substance misuse.
They can also help their service users to navigate other complex needs they might have, including school exclusion, homelessness, mental health, unemployment, or experience of the care system.
Some of their services include:
- Information and advice about drinking and drug use
- A drop-in service
- 1:1 advice and interventions for children and young people using or at risking of using substances
- Structured, evidence-based psychological and psychosocial interventions and support
- Group work
- Opportunities to take part in social activities, training and volunteering.
- Evolve: our social enterprise café and events space
- The Grow Project: which encourages outdoor activity and teaches practical skills
