Beezee Adults is a free healthy lifestyle programme, designed to help you lose weight in a healthy way and keep it off for good.

There's no one-size-fits-all approach to weight management. That's why the Beezee team have developed a weight management service for people with learning disabilities in mind.

They understand the challenges that people with learning disabilities face, which can make managing weight difficult. Their team will consider any medication or underlying conditions in your plan and will adapt learning tools to support you.

Everything is taken at a pace and in a manner that works for you so you can make realistic healthy lifestyle changes.

What does the programme offer?

  • A friendly one-to-one meeting with the Beezee team to discuss your lifestyle, needs, and goals after signing up
  • Engaging group activities led by nutritionists, dietitians, and physical activity specialists
  • Access to various materials and tools designed to support your journey
  • A friendly, inclusive network that will support you every step of the way
  • Sessions available online or in person

Eligibility criteria

  • Over 16 years of age
  • Be a Birmingham City Council resident
  • Have a BMI of >25kg/m2 (or over 23kg/m2 if you are from an Asian or Black origin)
  • Living with a learning disability
