The by-election in Kings Norton North and Northfield wards to elect city Councillors will be held on the same day.

We have started to send out poll cards. Registered voters in the two by-election wards will receive two poll cards. If they are postal voters, these will be issued separately.

If you are not registered to vote, you can apply to go onto the Electoral Register. The deadline to register is Tuesday 18 June 2024.

EU citizens who are registered to vote (other than those who are from Ireland, Cyprus or Malta) are not eligible to vote in the general election.

We will start to send out postal votes around 21 June. However, if you apply for a postal vote now, or if you completed your application for a postal vote after 2 June, it will not be sent out until around 26 June 2024. Bear this date in mind, as a proxy vote may be more suitable.
