Early relationships, wellbeing, and mental health
During pregnancy and the first few years of a baby’s life, parents, carers, and partners may need a bit of extra support. This is okay because it is a time of huge change.
Parents, carers, and partners may notice changes in how they are feeling, or find that they are struggling to connect or bond with their baby. The following services and areas of support may be able to help:
Birmingham Forward Steps (BFS)
The city-wide health and wellbeing service for babies and children aged 0 to 5 years and their families. The service combines early years and family support services, and health visiting.
