If you have seriously harmed yourself or need urgent medical help during a mental health crisis:

  • go straight to A&E if you can

If you are experiencing a non-emergency mental health crisis or might attempt suicide:

  • phone 111 and select option 2

A trained mental health professional will quickly assess the situation and decide whether an urgent referral is needed.
