BCIAHP Phase 1: Scoping - Data collection and analysis

In the ‘scoping’ phase of this project, we sought to understand the nature and size of the need in the target population, as well as the specific barriers the community experiences when trying to manage chronic headaches and migraines.
We collected various sources of data to do this, including:

  • Clinical desktop assessment of anonymised hospital and GP data.
  • Community population survey on our Birmingham BeHeard website.
  • Community-led focus group research into cultural context and understanding conducted by Birmingham Voluntary Services Council (BVSC).

The BCIAHP Phase 1 summary presentation will be available to view soon.
