Mentally Healthy Communities grants scheme
We are commissioning Mentally Healthy Communities grants for community and third sector organisations supporting groups experiencing mental health inequalities.
This grant is only available to organisations working with the following communities:
- black caribbean communities
- muslim communities
- people with sight loss
- people identifying as lesbian, gay or bisexual (LGB)
- trans and non-binary people
These grants of either £5,000 or £10,000 aim to help create and run wellbeing interventions for one of the 5 communities identified in focus groups run by our Deep Engagement Partners (DEP).
Interventions
Interventions will directly respond to the DEP’s focus group findings. They will be based on evidence and designed to improve people's mental health and wellbeing through structured activities, workshops and social engagement.
They will use a community-centred approach that reflects the lived experiences of the people they serve.
Successful providers
All funded projects will run during the 2026 grant period.
