How to get your COVID-19 vaccine

To get a COVID-19 vaccine you can either attend a walk-in vaccination site or book an appointment online.

Get help with booking your vaccine:

If you cannot book online, call 119 (free from mobiles and landlines). Lines are open every day.

119 provides support in 200 languages. If you are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and require additional support for 119 calls use the free online British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter.

Additional booking support:

You do not need to wait to be contacted by the NHS.

If you were contacted but have not booked your appointments, you're still eligible and can book your appointments anytime.

COVID-19 vaccines should be accessible to all eligible individuals:

  • You do not need to be registered with a GP to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, and you do not need an NHS number to receive a COVID-19 vaccine
  • You can receive a vaccine regardless of your immigration or citizenship status.
  • You do not need to provide photo ID to receive a COVID-19 vaccine

No one should be denied or turned away from any vaccination walk-in site or prevented from booking for these reasons. However, to book your vaccination appointment online you will need to be registered with a GP surgery in England. You can register with a GP if you do not have one.

For more support on booking a COVID-19 vaccine use the GOV.UK migrant health guide, where advice can be viewed in 40 different languages.
