Hidden disabilities

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a globally recognised symbol for non-visible disabilities, also known as hidden disabilities or invisible disabilities.

People living with these hidden disabilities often face barriers in their daily lives including a lack of understanding and negative attitudes.

Wearing a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower discreetly indicates to people around the wearer including staff, colleagues, and health professionals that they need additional support, help, or a little more time.

It is recognised in Tesco, Marks and Spencer, and Sainsbury’s and can be requested at the customer service desk of larger stores, or at the checkout at smaller stores.
