This week, cases across Birmingham increased to 3,109 cases, compared to 2,798 cases reported the previous week, an increase of 11.1%.

The 10 wards with the highest case rates (cases per 100,000 population) this week are:

  • Frankley Great Park (515)
  • Sutton Walmley & Minworth (501)
  • Oscott (492)
  • Stirchley (475)
  • Northfield (432)
  • Sutton Trinity (432)
  • Erdington (420)
  • Sutton Vesey (412)

Cases increased in all age groups this week, with the 0-19 age group showing the largest increase of 16%.

Cases increased in all ethnic groups, with the Black ethnic group showing the largest increase of 15%.
