Cases in Birmingham have increased by 59.7% compared to the previous 28 days. In the recent 28 days (30 May to 26 June), 3,978 cases were reported, a case rate of 348.8/100k.

Our case surveillance is dependent upon residents reporting their test results; the absolute number of reported cases may be affected.

The five wards with the highest case rates (cases per 100,000 population) in the 28-day period are:
