Match My Project

Corporate Procurement Services has launched a Match My Project online portal, where businesses can find and support Birmingham based community projects.

Visit Match My Project online portal

This portal is where community organisations post their project that businesses need support to complete.

You can filter these projects and select those you would like to support.

If accepted by the community organisations, you can offer support and help to complete the project.

Watch the video, which shows the Match My Project user journey for businesses, including signing up and finding projects to support, getting started on a project, and giving feedback.

Once the project is completed, the community organisation flags it as complete. It then enters the number of hours, the value of any resources, and any cash donated to complete the project.

These values get posted against your business which is published on the website.

There is lots of help on how to use the system:

  • The 'How It Works' tab on the top right-hand side of the front page gives some basic information
  • There is more help available as you use the system
  • If all else fails, you can use the contact us button. We urge you to use this portal when delivering your social value commitments, particularly under the partners in communities theme.

This will be the primary channel for delivering community projects for Birmingham City Council's social value commitments. There are projects available that seek support, and more are coming soon.

You can also add the projects that you are currently working on.

Good luck, and we look forward to seeing you on the leaderboard.
