New "rent contributions" feature
Rent contributions is a feature in the Housing Perks app. It allows you to automatically credit your rent account with the savings you make.
It is a simple way to turn everyday purchases into rent savings.
By turning on rent contributions, you will also benefit from increased offers and discounts. The first 3 vouchers you purchase will have an incredible discount of 10% on all supermarket shopping at Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and more.
How to claim the 10% discount
- Download the Housing Perks app - available on Android and iOS. To sign up and claim this offer, you will need your payment reference ready
- Have rent contributions turned on in the app - go to "rent" in the menu and turn on rent contributions if you have not already
- Purchase a voucher through the Housing Perks app - it will arrive within a few seconds
- Use your voucher to pay
The 10% saving will automatically be credited to your rent account, so you can save on rent while shopping for your groceries.
It may take up to 10 working days from the date the voucher is purchased for the credit to appear on your rent account.
An example
If you purchase a £100 Asda voucher with a 4% discount, you will still receive the voucher with £100 on it - but £4 will be credited to your rent account by Housing Perks.
Important things to remember
- This promotion is exclusive to tenants who switch on rent contributions in the Housing Perks app only
- The 10% discount only applies top the first 3 vouchers you purchase
- You should check the terms and conditions of the vouchers you purchase
- If you have not signed up before, have your payment reference ready when signing up
