You can request Aerofilm Limited Albums - Birmingham and District for 1921 and 1938 plus individual album dated 1923 to 1930 for viewing in the Wolfson Centre (catalogue reference: SA 2).

Birmingham City Council planning and architecture photographs (20th century)

The index can be searched online at http://calmview.birmingham.gov.uk by using the Advanced Search option, putting the name of the road in the Any Text field and then typing BCC/1/AO/D/3/8/1* in the Ref No field. Access to photographs is by appointment in the Wolfson Centre and request the items using the finding number.

Benjamin Stone collection

Dating from the c1860s to 1900s, the collection comprises images of local, national and international interest. Access to the collection is through microfiche surrogates by appointment in the Wolfson Centre. Images of England photographic books

Printed books of photographs from the Images of England series and Old Photographs series can be viewed in our Heritage Research Area without an appointment. They are available on the open shelves in the Birmingham Collection in the Suburbs section at the beginning of the collection and sections BCOL 85 – 89.
