West Midlands Police and Crime Panel

The Panel scrutinises and supports the work of the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner to ensure they are effectively addressing policing, community safety and crime issues across the West Midlands.

On 18 October 2021 the Panel formally reviewed the Police and Crime Commissioner’s draft Police and Crime Plan.

Our report to the Police and Crime Commissioner suggested a number of issues to consider when finalising the document. Our report and the PCC’s response are available to download.

Public Questions

Any member of the public who lives, works or studies in the West Midlands (other than police officers and police staff) can ask a question at the meeting about the Panel’s role and responsibilities.

Please note that the Commissioner has put in place separate arrangements for dialogue with the public.
