Pay a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)

Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) are issued when a vehicle is recorded as not following parking or traffic regulations. This is known as a contravention.

PCNs may be placed on your vehicle or sent to you by post.

Each notice explains what the contravention was and what you can do next.

Read more about what PCNs are, how they’re issued and what to do if you receive one in the Penalty Charge Notices section of our website.

How to pay

You can pay your PCN online, in person or by post.

If you pay within the discount period shown on your PCN, we’ll apply a 50% discount.

You can challenge a PCN if you think it was given by mistake. Do not pay if you want to challenge it.
